Privacy and cookie policy
This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, on what legal basis, who receives it and which rights you have under the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679). Last updated: 6 September 2026.
1. Data controller
Darina Solomakhina, sole trader operating as Alpine Web Studio, Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy. VAT number IT03311370211. Email: info@alpinewebstudio.com. WhatsApp: +39 346 358 4614. No data protection officer has been appointed, as none is required for this business.
2. What data is processed, why, and on what legal basis
- Enquiries by email, contact form or WhatsApp. Name, contact details and the content of your message. Purpose: to reply to you and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The contact form is delivered to my mailbox by the form service FormSubmit together with the language, the page you wrote from and the campaign tags (utm) if you came from an ad.
- Chat assistant on the site. If you open the chat and answer its questions, your answers, name, email and phone (if you give it) are sent to my automation platform Make (Celonis SE, servers in the EU) to prepare the short analysis, save the enquiry and, if you pick a time, create the call in my calendar and send you the invite. The chat keeps its own session in your browser's local storage only. Legal basis: consent and steps prior to a contract (art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). You can skip the chat and write on WhatsApp instead.
- Analytics and advertising measurement. With your consent this site may use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics 4 and the OpenAI advertising pixel to measure visits and the results of advertising campaigns. They set cookies and process your IP address, device data and the pages you visit. Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). None of these tools loads before you click "Accept all". Until they are activated, no third-party cookies are set at all.
- Hosting and server logs. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Its servers record IP address, browser type and request time for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for a short period and are not used to profile you.
- Language and cookie preferences. Your chosen language and your cookie choice are stored in your browser only, to avoid asking you again. These are strictly necessary and require no consent.
3. Who receives the data
Data is shared only with providers that process it on my behalf under a data processing agreement: Vercel Inc. (hosting, USA), FormSubmit (delivery of the contact form to my mailbox), Make / Celonis SE (chat assistant and calendar, servers in the EU) and, only after your consent, Meta Platforms Ireland, Google Ireland and OpenAI Ireland for advertising measurement. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Data is never sold.
4. How long data is kept
Enquiries and correspondence: up to 24 months after the last contact, or for the duration of the contract plus the legal retention period for accounting documents (10 years in Italy). Chat answers and the analysis: up to 12 months. Analytics and advertising data: according to the cookie table below. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
5. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting what was done before. Write to info@alpinewebstudio.com; I answer within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of your country of residence.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all cookies or only the necessary ones. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Fonts are served from this site's own domain, so no request is sent to Google Fonts.
7. Changes
